Testing the waters...surprised my wife (she's an easy keeper) with an '08 Lexus SUV and thinking about liquidating a few things to recover some cash.
HS Precision 7mm-08 Professional Hunter Lightweight in Left hand --all stainless in black cerakote. This is an HS short action, full custom.
Extremely rare one here, this rifle is $4300 from HS as it sits in LH with a 6 month wait. That price doesn't include the work that I had Karl Feldcamp do.
22" fluted barrel, I think it's a 1 in 9 or 9.5 twist.
Detachable mag with extra mag and belt keeper.
14" LOP stock in optional desert camo--gorgeous stock, stiff as a board. Factory bedding job is perfect.
When I got this rifle it came in right at 6lbs, but I wanted it solidly in the 5lbs (light is right) so I had Kampfeld flute the bolt, hollow the bolt handle, skeletonize the trigger guard and lighten the detachable mag framework--all cerakoted.....stellar work from Karl as usual. Gun comes in at 5lbs 13.5oz with mag on my scale. This gun feels great in the hands and at 5lbs is a joy to carry! Great sheep rifle.
Shoots .7 all day long with Federal premium with 140 gr barnes. HS has an accuracy guarantee as well. About 200 rounds down this one.
Recoil is very mild.
Will include Talley lightweights, Leupy negotiable as it is a perfect optic on this stick.
Won't find another like it anywhere and especially at $2950 shipped.
No endless price drops on this rifle, I'll probably be glad if it doesn't draw interest!
