Still haven't found a "no brainer" but I packed into a new area today and finally found a couple good bucks. I have 2 other spots that I think may hold a giant and I'll get in in there this next week.

I'm downloading the video now.

Let me know which buck you like. First 2 pics are the same deer

Hey Drummond,

Those are great bucks where I come from. Don't know if you remember, but we met up in Lubbock and you showed me your white FJ60 and some great sheds you picked up in Sonora a few years ago. I think I first ran across you on ih8mud or monstermuleys.

Anyways, my brother's bow hunting around Leadville for the first time this year and I've got 8 or 9 Muley pref points for Colorado saved up. May try to make a Colorado trip next year.

Good luck to you. I hope you can find that big one you were talking about.

I do remember that! How are you doing? I sold that FJ60 about two years ago. Two significant hail storms and a tornado did a number on it. Still got $2100 for it but I kick myself for selling it. I loved that 60!

What unit is your brother hunting? Tell him to give me a call if he wants

That first buck is sure nice but they always look bigger from behind! Really was hoping for a front or quartering to me view of him! He'd be dead on my Idaho controlled tag this year or VERY close to it! Thanks for posting Drum!

Thanks guys. Heading up at 4am to try to get closer to the buck in this next video.

I filmed it through my spotter at over 4 miles away. That kind of distance makes it tough to see mass in the video but when looking through the scope he appeared to be really heavy. Just want to rule him in or out and then let my buddy know so they can decide which buck they want to hunt opening morning. His 14 year old son has a tag as well.

Great bucks, I like the one in the 3rd pic and I agree the one in the video looks pretty good, too- especially considering the distance. Thanks for sharing!

I don't know the units real well, but I think he's hunting 444/45 rifle and his friend has an OTC 444 archery tag or something like that. They'll be up there tonight.

Sounds like the old white FJ60 served you well. They take a bit of maintenance to keep them going, but will run forever! I'm driving an 87 FJ60. Hard to beat, but not the most comfortable or fast vehicle to drive across country to the mountains!
