Lightweight yet stout, the military-proven waterproof/breathable and tear-resistant 70d shadow-box fabric is 100% nylon and has been tested to withstand the harshest environments. The seam taped hood comes with an added hood cord cinch adjuster for the ideal custom-fit over any headwear.

Doesn’t look like it. Looks more like an oversized jacket with snaps up the sides.

If you size up 1-2 sizes, then you can definitely fit it over your pack -- or you can fit it over your pack with the side buttons undone, which then reduces side coverage.

I've had one for several months, keep it in my pack at all times as a backup and use it all the time walking the dogs in the PNW drizzle.

So far, so good. Does not replace a dedicated rain layer for multi-day excursions.
