I have a lot of Fed friends, most not retirement age yet, but I don't think any of them have any faith in that offer being well thought out, defined or reliable. Going to be a lot of whiplash the next few months. Just buckle up!

Our hr department knows nothing and suggested either waiting or contacting opm.

I think it's awesome. I have a lot of coworkers who might get motivated to perform. I REEEEEEEAAAAAALY enjoy watching the daily update meetings with our regional directors where people can ask questions.

Some people are incredibly dumb. One teleworker looked to be on a porn set, another asked if this would jeopardize her position in which she makes valentine's day cards on a grant.

I don’t think that going back to the office everyday is as big of an issue as they are trying to make it. If they want us back in the office, simply tell us. No need for all the BS.

I would not accept the deal even if I was ready to retire. If I was going to take the deal, I would do it through the Dept of Army, not some anonymous crap from OPM. No one at OPM even had the balls to put their name to it.

We were getting strange emails last week from OPM asking to respond to confirm our emails. Must have been the folks standing up a new email server to send out the “Fork in the Road”. Like they didn’t already have that capability??? The whole thing just seems suspect.

I just want clarification on if I resign, do I still have to show up everyday til the end of the fiscal year? I’m currently in office everyday with an ad-hoc telework agreement that I hardly ever use

I'm not personally affected by this but I'd make sure I double and triple checked, and had things in writing before acting on this "opportunity".

Assembling the airplane while in mid flight seems to be the theme recently.

I think this was designed to capture the entire audience. I have hr staff working from all over the place and the response tine has gone from a few hours to several days. I think there's been a lot of cheating going on.
