Forbes model 24b bases

Hey guys,

Can’t find any information online, but doesn’t anyone know if the screw spacing for the Forbes 20b is the same as the 24b?

For example, could I fit a set of Talley rings for a 20b onto a 24b?

Contact Talley, believe they made all the mounts for the Forbes rifles. I had an early jeweled bolt 24b in 270win. It came with Talleys as manufactured. Sweet handy rifle, I always wanted to remodel into a 65x284 but had an offer I couldn't refuse.

I have a 24b which I rechambered to 6.5-284n. Best decision I ever made.

Yes you can put Talley 1 piece rings/bases on either one. I have a couple 24b’s and one 20b. You can not fit a rail for a 20b to a 24b since the 20b is a short action and the 24b is a long action

I used some Talley ultralites, for a NULA. They fit absolutely fine!
