Western Washington archery elk opener is tomorrow morning. Good luck to one and all in whichever state you are in. I must sign off now and pack up my gear for the morning. I'll be hunting solo and hunting close to home this year due to having to work a bit during the season and also due to my upcoming moose hunt next week. Good luck all and shoot straight!

I, for one, feel the electricity in MT. It's been unseasonably cool the second half of August and Wednesday of this week is a high temp in the 50's predicted. Could be awesome weather to start the deer and elk season. It opens on Saturday! Good luck everyone, hunting season 2014 will be great.
