For Sale: Remington Custom Shop KS in 270

This is a Remington Custom Shop KS in 270 Winchester. It is not a short mag. The rifle is a Mountain Rifle and lightweight. It weighs 6 pounds, 5 ounces. I am the second owner of this rifle. According to Remington it was made in 1993. It has the parkerized type finish on the metal and at that time this rifle was built by the custom shop the stocks for the KS rifles were made by McMillan. (An email to McMillan to verify what the Remington people told me was never answered.) It is in excellent condition with just a few minor marks from being hunted. This is a Kevlar stocked rifle.

This rifle was threaded for a muzzle break but does not have the muzzle break with it. The thread protector is on the rifle. One drop of blue LockTite makes sure it will not come off unless you want to take it off. For some unknown reason the factory recoil pad has been trimmed. The action is super smooth and it is very accurate. $1100 shipped to the lower 48 to your receiving FFL.

remington made a similar model believe called an alaskan that was stainless steel but blued, would this be the same? not sure how you could tell other than original paperwork as some so called stainless steel models will attract a magnet.

I have one of these in .338 WM and stainless as does Brent49. These things flat out shoot. I've taken a moose, a Dall Ram, and a Caribou with mine.
Great rifle if you are a .270 guy..

Thanks for the support for the Remington KS. This rifle shoots too. On another site I show a picture with a group the size of a quarter at 100 yards. It was shot with factory Federal Fusion 150 grain ammo. That was done with a shooter that is getting along in years too.

Great little rifle that I just seldom use any longer and needs a new home.
