WTS For Sale - 2 Ruger American Gen 2 Stocks

I replaced the stocks on both of my rifles. Just sold the tan one, but he other is a dark green from the Predator American (7PRC, and I think it will work with most long action rifles).

It comes with the two mounting bolts to the action, but no magazine. I also have an extra high and medium comb replacement that works with all the Gen 2 stocks. Asking $100 shipped. I'm in the Houston, TX area, so if you want to pick them up or see them in person, I'm happy to meet up.

is the 6.5 creed stock one with the interchangeable magwell like the gen 2 using AI mags?

Not sure if the magwell is interchangeable. I only used the Ruger mag.

early gen 1's the Ruger mag just went in the plastic stock directly. later gen 1 (bottom rifle) and now gen 2 have a lower plastic piece holding the mag and it is held in place with the action screws like in this picture... With this you can change that plastic piece and switch from flush box mag to AI style mags - or AR style for those cartidges

Just added some pictures. It looks like the short action stock might accept AICS mags.

yep, the brown stock is set up for AICS already. This is the detail I was looking for. However in the interim I think I bought a g1 stock for $50 that will work; waiting to see it next week. If it doesn't I'll reach out.

Could ya get a measurement of the length of the magwell on the tan stock

The opening is 3 1/16 x 31/32" wide at the back and 7/8" at the front. The mag is 3 x 31/32 at the back and 13/16 at the front of the mag
