I remember when Bob Griese had his leg broken in the fifth game and was replaced by Earl Morral. he led them to the playoffs, when Griese's returned to finish their perfect season.

Shoulda woulda coulda. Quit crying about the officials. They suck in every game, somehow. They didn’t call an obvious hold on buffalo in the end zone, that woulda changed the game as well. I like Josh Allen but he didn’t take care of the ball and he missed some open receivers. Not sure what’s worse, honestly, being a bills fan or being a lions fan?![]()
Did you miss Josh throwing a backwards pass to no one that gave Denver a field goal right before the half? You make a good point but there is also parallel situations that can make a difference. Buffalo had no business running a play at all before the half. That was poor decision making and had they just kneeled down to end it the bad call interception in OT never would’ve happened. Not denying bad calls or favoritism but buffalo did damage to themselves. I’m a Josh Allen fan not a Bills fan but that was a mistake that champions don’t make. That is an interesting take, with a broad brush. The game of football is played in linear fashion, with each play and decision based on the current situation. It's not a live play game like other sports. Most would never go for it on 4th and 15 from their own 10 yard line ever, unless the game was on the line.
There are several scenarios where scoring, or scoring too quickly could cost a team the game. With so many factors involving each and every play, saying "they had other chances/other bad calls even it out" etc. is not relevant in the least.
That bad call had directly affected the outcome of the game. As did the following bad call.
With as many turnovers that the Bills had, no way they should have been in the game at the end, but they were.
Note me, Stroud played for the dreaded Ohio State St.At this point I'd really love to see the Texans run the table. I won't be betting on them, but definitely rooting for them.
