Used to be that way every year for me, too. I’m old enough to remember when what’s now “ college “ football was actually college football played by students enrolled in the school. Now….. just one bunch of hired hands playing another bunch of hired hands. Little, if any, actual connections between players and schools. Now just the academies and lower divisions play actual amateur ball.

Rams special teams cost them again. Been weak spot all year. Missed field goal, 2 really crappy 4th quarter punts, one of them returned for TD. Plus they are the only team I see these days putting every kick into the end zone on kickoffs and just conceding the ball to the other team on the 35

Well-deserved loss for the Rams. First two times in the red zone only led to two field goals. Still managed to be up 30-14 with 8 minutes left in the game. Missed field goal that would have broken the tie once it hit 30-30. Lost on a two point conversion because no one was in a hurry to jump on the loose ball.

Is Alabama getting revenge on Oklahoma tonight, or are they losing to the same team twice in one season for the first time since 1893?

I only follow college football any more. I miss watching the Pack but once the NFL bowed to special interest groups I refuse to watch.

Big College football fan but even that isn't the same anymore. We have lost the significance of playing ball for something bigger than ourselves.
