Wow, every top ranked team (1,2,3,4), lost to their lower ranking opponent.

It really makes you wonder which past teams (ranked 1-4) would have been beaten by outsiders in the short history of the 4 team college football playoff.

Special teams, turnovers, limit mistakes and don't beat yourself. Will win you a lot of football games. Notre Dame is Iowa with an offense.

The only ND game I watched prior to last night was their loss vs N Illinois. I was personally amazed by how much ND’s DL and OL dominated Georgia. ND was even missing one of the best DL in college football. I don’t think having Beck would’ve made a difference. ND camped out in the Georgia’s backfield on defense and could get 3 yards at will on offense. That will be a great old school football matchup vs Penn State. Penn State getting two extra days of rest and prep feels a bit lopsided, but I guess it’s the circumstance.

If this post-Michigan Ohio State team sticks around, they will beat Texas by 3+ scores.

Most definitely not an Ohio fan. But if they can get in that same rhythm they were in against Oregon, they will be tough to beat.

Yes a little. Giving top 4 seeds to big12 and Mountain west conference champs wouldn't have been a thing though.

Notre Dame and TX likely would have been in and OSU and PSU out?

Haven’t seen any posts this year regarding the playoffs and thought I’d start one. So first off, how ‘bout them Bengals and Bills!!How about a couple of young quarterbacks that are killing it! I’m not a fan of either of those organizations, but I am a fan of both of those kids. So, with this 2021 post season just getting started, let’s hear your take. Oh, and how ’bout them Niners!!!

Good pack go! Hopefully Jordan Love can lead the pack to a deep playoff run!

“This is further proof that we need to go back to the 4 team playoff format.” - Kirby Smart and the SEC commissioner, probably

4 team playoff would’ve been Oregon, Georgia, Texas, and ND. Decent chance we have a national championship game with none of them 4 teams in it.

Not sure ND would have made it in with a loss to Northern Illinois and no conference champ. Game. Tejas wouldn't have been a shoe in either. 2 loss Texas over 1 loss Boise. Boise had a close loss to the only undefeated team. Would have been a lot of discussion this year.
