The way my family texts were all year, they made it sound like the Vikings were next level good. I finally tuned in tonight and had big hopes for the Vikings. I thought for sure after a long wait, this would finally be the year we got to see another NFC Championship last second missed field goal. Or an interception in field goal range with a tie game and a minute to go. I thought for sure we would get to add another Vikings classic like a fumble from the 10 yd line in the NFC Championship down 1 with a minute to go. But it was just the typical Vikings playoffs blowout. There’s always next year!

I’m not sure if Donald sucked, can’t really judge a QB that never had a pocket to throw from. He was running for his life or already sacked by his second read every play.

It’s probably 50/50 that Deion is gonna be coaching in Dallas. If he is, they will sell a good amount of their first and second round picks for the next 5 years to get Shedeur and Travis Hunter.

One thing Jerry Jones cares about more than Dallas winning a Super Bowl and that’s $$$ and being the center of attention. Deion and his crew will be a ratings and merchandise monster. Cowboys might suck, but revenue will triple and the cowboys will be the lead story and prime time every week; and that’s better than a Super Bowl for ol Jerry.

Yeah, Jeanty’s gonna be wearing the star next year

Do you think Jeanty’s going to be around for the 12th pick? Or, Dallas possibly trading up in the draft? I think right now the draft report has Jeanty ranked #2, so if Dallas is going to get him, they’re gonna have to do some BIG time trading up.

The question with Jeanty is how much more does he have in the tank. He will make an impact on whatever team he ends up on, but for how long? He has raked up 750 carries in the NCAA over 3 years compared to Zeke at 592. Zeke was great for the first 3 years, however quickly began to fade. First round picks need to be for a player who's going to be productive for 5+ years. Heck Derrick Henry had just 602 in 3 years and I'd argue that he's the anomaly that has lasted.

If a team is right on the cusp of breaking it then Jeanty makes sense, but Dallas isn't that team. Granted Jerry does what Jerry does so the chances of him using a high first round pick on a short term rental is high.

what a lousy weekend of football. one decent game.

outside of a couple teams the level of play has taken a step back in the league as the game play resembles the college game more and more.

teams just don’t look crisp, bad penalties, odd play calling, etc. getting the ball on the 30 is ridiculous too.

that being said..GO LIONS
It’s terrible isn’t it? There’s really 6-8 good teams in the NFL. The quality of QB/OL play league wide is horrible.

We never show up when it matters, I had low expectations and still came away disappointed.

7 of the 9 sacks were on darnold just holding the ball and not letting it go to open recievers. The o line needs help but last night holding the ball for 5 plus seconds every play and not letting it go it was all on darnold and his ghosts he sees

Pretty hard to win when you give up two turnovers and nine sacks in the playoffs. Rams definitely took a page out of the pressure the shit out of Darnold playbook the Lions wrote.

I just hope the blowout that most of these playoffs have been isnt foreshadowing to what the Super Bowl will be.

The last two weeks the Viking's Darnold has looked an awful lot like the Jet's Darnold. Throw the ball away, if nothing else...

Also, if a guy is running at you, the best escape route isn't to run directly away from them, with no left or right move at all. They have a full head of steam, you are just starting, and you run the same direction they are running... WTF??? He did it over and over...

I'm trying this meme one last time. I might be the only one that thinks it's hilarious. Sam Darnold looks like little Larry Sellars from The Big Lebowski. The quote is meant to evoke a memory of what John Goodman was yelling when he smashed the Corvette outside Larry's house.
