Foot arrows

i want to foot a couple of carbon arrows but am having trouble figuring out diameters. Does anyone know what size aluminum arrow would fit around an Easton Axis 5mm in 250 and 300?

I know over on TradGang they have a chart that lists sizes of aluminum arrows that will fit over carbons for footers

You might want to check out Ethics Archery, they sell outsert that basically work like footings. Otherwise it can be a lot of expensive trial and error getting the right size and it can get expensive! I've seen the list the other guy talked about, not to many small diameter arrows listed on it from what I've remember, it's in the "How To" section i think.

Also, you can call up VPA. They make footers for Axis arrows, but might be out of stock. Worth giving them a shout.

+1 for calling vpa. even if you don’t order they can probably give you a size.

Vpa footers with a flange on them are nicer then anything you can build. I havent built footer since i was able to get them from ray.
