We've had a few food savers over the years and we use em like crazy. Usually around 10-15 animals year that we process ourselves. Whitetails, hogs, a muley or two a year when we get to Colorado etc. I'll say this about the food savers, they have a nice warranty department and we have nothing but good things to say about that end of it. But, does anyone have insight into a better vac sealer? This overheats often and probably adds an hour to an already grueling process. When we have a couple of deer to do and it's 10pm and that thing stops working.... well. Let's just say I fantasize about taking it outside and using it for target practice lol.
I'm not asking for perfection here but a little more durability would be nice.
