Wondering if anyone has a recommendation on either system used for range + some hunting.

Is tube/carbine w folding adapter more robust vs 1913 + AR folding stock? This would be going on an Elf Owl chassis for a 6 arc Howa Mini.

And any recs on nice stocks for either for a folding set up? Looking for decently low weight and a cheek weld.

Thanks!

For a folding stock for 1913 look at the Sampson Sweet Ass Stock. Got one for my 10/22 Spectre chassis. Only con is there's not much for a bag rider.

I see no reason to put a buffer tube on a rifle that does not have a buffer system.

I have an XLR folder and love the fact that the cheek riser can slide forward and backwards relative to the butt plate. My MDT SCS places the cheek riser really far back with the folder, enough so that I pulled the folder off.
