Folding chassi legality

I have one hunt already booked and I want to book a few more in Canada.

Are folding chassis legal if the bolt action rifle is over 26 inches long collapsed?

Has anyone had any issues at the border?

I have reached out to the border patrol and the and the RCMP and I haven’t gotten any proof, they just send me the same links that I can find online myself.

Check with MDT? They are in Canada and make folding chassis for hunting…

Correct. Over 26" folded and you're good to go.

If your hunt isn’t until this fall you should be good, they’ll be a state by then.
