FNG just moved for work to the SE Denver area. Hunted whitetail and turkey my whole life in MS and surrounding area. Never done any western hunting farthest west I’ve been is Oklahoma.
First I want to say the forums have been a wealth of knowledge and trying to learn all the rules and requirements in CO are quite daunting. But I’m slowly getting an understanding.
If anyone has any tips for making sure I stay legal when hunting out west that would be greatly appreciated, I don’t ever want to ruin my hunt or someone else’s on public land because of not knowing.
Also if there are any other new western hunters in the area that want to link up for some turkey, whitetail, mule, or elk would love to get out in the woods with a partner. I’m a true western FNG but very easy going and just love being in the woods.
