FNG in Central Texas

Hi All,

I am an FNG from central Texas. I shoot a PSE Drive X 70lbs, 250 gold tip black label quantum. I am looking for other central Texas hunters that would like to hunt and scout together. I currently only hunt public land in Texas, Michigan, and Florida. I might be expanding to Tennasee and Montana soon.

I am in Central Texas in a place called Spring Branch, It is 45 min to San Antonio and 1 hr to Austin.

Hey fellow texans. Long time visitor of the site. The knowledge here is incredible. Grew up in the TX hill country, but live outside Houston currently. Have been on 4 different DIY elk hunts and hoping this is the year to finally punch a tag! Looking forward to engaging and contributing where I can.

Hey Netdrop, tried to message but I believe I might have to have x amount of posts, etc. I'm from down on the coast, but drive 4-5 hours to get to the places I hunt. Headed out to scout for a couple days soon. I work a swing shift so I scout/hunt weekdays quite often. I'm interested in talking about scouting/hunting. That's open to anyone. Gotta be cautious on here but I'll say that I'm hunting east of I-35 but not deep east. South of Dallas. North of....that's already too much. Looking forward to replies.
