I've only been through Sundance once but seem pretty nice. A heck of a lot fewer tourists than I have to deal with.
Yes and no. Devils tower isn’t too far North, and definitely draws some people. Then right before , during, and after Sturgis we usually get quite an influx for a little while.

In terms of hunting, it’s fairly easy to draw a deer tag here and so there are quite a few out of state deer hunters in November but despite that I’ve taken a respectable whitetail on public land every year since I’ve been here. One of these years I’ll draw a good mulie tag….

There are some decent general season muley tags a guy can get his hands on if he's will to travel a little.
