I drove through the Shenandoah's last summer, forgot how great they were. I was actually thinking about a backcountry style hunt for deer and/or bear down there. Have you ever done that sort of thing in VA?

I hike right much, looking forward to trying my kifaru reckoning out this year. Me and a buddy did a day hunt up in the Havens WMA but no luck. Looking to do a few overnight hunts this coming year.
