Hey other FNG's! Glad to be here and getting into hunting. I love hiking, camping, and cooking grass-fed beef and pasture raised chicken and pork. Can't wait to combine exercise with hunting and doing some backpacking hunting in Washington. This sport has a high barrier to entry in terms of gear. I am still learning a lot about what I need and how to get outfitted.

For other FNG's, I've really enjoyed the Exo Mtn podcast and Steven Rinella's meateater content. Been nice talking to guys at Cabela's and other industry stores, too.

Heck yeah! Our state seems like a great place to hunt. Not loving that CWD is encroaching... but that's a whole can of worms. Enjoy picking up this new hobby.
