FNG from South Carolina

Same, I moved to Charleston two years ago and I only (finally) managed a whitetail doe this season. What part of the state are you in?

moved to north Myrtle Beach. Had to dust everything off after the move. Prior 4 years no hunting as we took care of my mother.

New location and new adventure.

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new SC member.

Heck yea-let's overrun this place with South Carolinians. As long as you have deprogrammed from Jersey for at least 18 months we can count you in as a certified Southerner. Prolly got to work on your accent though.

Welcome to Rokslide!

That's not too far. If you want to hunt Francis Marion some time feel free to hit me up. I'm mostly archery these days, but I still dabble in the rifle hunting.

Thank you all, Jersey was a transplant state due to a pretty brunette I married 30 years age. Kept my southern leanings as all of my family is from the Carolina’s.

I rifle shoot only. Couldn’t hit a barn with an arrow if I was inside it.

Hugshe, Would like to learn more about the Francis Marion. Is that a WMA?

It's a national forest area east of Charleston, around 260,000 acres. It's split up into a few smaller WMA's
