Hi folks, FNG from south carolina here. Long time bowhunter, my permanent residence is in Idaho but I'm here for a few years for work. I'm mostly learning how to chase whitetails in the swamp these days, but I try to get a few trips in for antelope and mule deer each year. Looking forward to meeting some people and maybe finding some other folks in the area to go hunting with.

As the self-appointed chairman of the welcoming committee, it is my privilege to extend a laurel, and hearty handshake (virtual, of course) to our new SC (via ID) member.

Welcome. I’m in the upstate of South Carolina. So did you get snowed in?
Yeah, we got about 3 inches. roads were clear pretty quickly, but the city basically shut down. Still about an inch left in some places

Using southern math I calculate that 3 inches of snow in South Carolina is roughly the equivalent to 6 feet of snow in Buffalo New York. Our snow is just more compact.
