Welcome. I’d love to hunt fallow someday. Its on my list.
Yeah bro the are cool to hunt; can really be a challenge outside the rut depending on the terrain. During the rut they act stupidly like most other deer. Hearing a fallow croak isn't quite as epic as an elk bugle but its still pretty exciting.

I'm keen to make more contacts in the US who could help facilitate a public land Elk hunt oneday, and would totally reciprocate with a public land Sambar or Red Deer hunt down here.

Welcome from a Melbournian. My son has hunted fallow in the south east of SA a couple of times as part of the ADA junior ballot program.
