FNG from Pennsylvania

I have read rokslide discussions when brought to them by doing research of my own on hunting and hunting equipment through google. Decided it was time to join. I’ve grown up hunting whitetail in PA. Being the youngest child, I was lucky enough to always get to follow my dad on out of state hunts that he didn’t want to go on himself since my brothers had already moved out and started families. I have taken an Alaskan Barren ground caribou with him, an Utah mule deer, and more PA whitetail than I can count. I can finally return the favor to him now, and we are heading to Idaho this fall for an elk/deer hunt to celebrate his retirement. I look forward to sharing hunting experiences with other like minded individuals.

Thank you I appreciate it! I’ve discovered how to add pics and will include some here! My caribou, my mule deer, and a couple of the deer I’ve got pictures of that I’ve taken with my compound. Do most of my whitetail hunting alone so I don’t have too many pictures of those unfortunately.

“CoalCountryHunter”??? I assume you’re from down Lackawanna/Schuylkill/Carbon County way? I was born and raised in Tioga County. I spent about 6 months in Frackville PA for tech school when I was 18… Had a great time and met a lot of great people. Definitely a pretty neat place.

I went to Schuylkill tech for their Equipment Operation/CDL program. They used to run it up at the airport but I’d heard they moved it since. Had a great time while I was there. Rented a small apartment in Minersville. Steve Mazur from Frackville was one of the instructors.
