New guy..gear junkie..long time lurker and reader. I figured I should register. This is typically where I come to read about potential gear purchases. Grew up in NW Montana.. joined the military for a long time. Retired and moved back. Wife and kids are new to this adventure life of hunting, fishing, camping etc, but the wife has fully embraced it and loves getting out there and doing it with me. I figured out a few years ago if she has some quality equipment and is comfortable I can get all the gear I want and we both go use it together. We are currently buying backcountry camping gear and we are going to try a few overnights in the woods during Spring bear as our trial run. Look forward to being part of this community.
