Found this forum a few days ago and have been lurking a bit. I'm excited to read about more DIY hunts. I've been in the mountains since early teens and have been after game, sniper style, ever since. Mostly western states but I'm craving a Maine whitetail someday soon. Heading to Colorado Unit 22 for a second season gamble in a few days.
