Mainly a deerhunter, bow is my preference, but I still hunt gun deer in WI with a group of old friends.
Started Elk and Mule Deer hunting a few years ago with a buddy who gun hunts. I'm hooked. Looking to absorb as much info as I can. I'm working to prepare myself for my Archery Elk Apprenticeship in 2014. That was supposed to happen this fall, but circumstances changed. I'm trying to turn that to my benefit as fuel for my motivation and use the time to pull together money for higher quality gear.
I've been lurking off and on for a while.
I am not Orionthehunter1's brother, I chose the handle from the sense of kinship. Like the constellation, I am an archer, large, and the darker it is the easier it is to look at me. Or at least that's what the wife says.
