Checking in from Montana. Grew up hunting mule deer and upland game, and a few trips to Eastern Oregon chasing elk. Hunted archery (compound) last year for the first time, and really liked it. I'm looking to gain some wisdom on elk scouting, as well as rut strategies/tactics. Also looking into small caliber rifles (I'm kinda sick of recoil). Reload for my handguns, but want to get into rifle calibers as well.
