I am a fit and respectful 33 year old man who is looking for an experienced hunter, family, or older gentlemen that would appreciate help packing in and out. Will provide free beer, a few hot meals courtesy of my wife, gas money and a free hotel room in the area we are hunting if applicable.
I am proficient in hiking with a heavy pack and being quiet. I am proficient in hitting sub 1" groups at 100 yards and about 4" groups at 1000 yards with my 300 PRC rifle. Experience in taking animals is minimal. Firearms and woodsman skills are respectable.
My goal is to become comfortable with the area and find places to go suitable for myself and also places that are slightly more accessible for my wife and child.
I am a linehaul driver that works nights Sunday-Thursday.
I often request to be cut from work Thursday nights.
I plan to go out into the Cascade and Stanley area and surrounding areas every weekend to scout and hunt. I would leave Boise to go into the mountains around 10Pm-3Am Thursday night/Friday morning and would turn in to go back to town to work Sunday afternoon. Open to other schedules.
Excited about Elk but interested in hunting of all kinds including Deer, bear, and fowl. Also possibly interested in splitting guided hunting trips of all kinds and guided fishing trips for salmon here in Idaho or abroad but my general focus is on Idaho because it is my home and I love it here and would like to be more familiar and experienced with it's wilderness.
Looking forward to making some friends here and having some great experiences.
