For sale is this very nice FN Mauser in .257 Roberts. I believe it is the "Deluxe" version. It comes with factory double set trigger, heavier-than-standard barrel contour, Monte Carlo stock, and steel butt plate. This beautiful rifle is also an excellent shooter.

24" Chrome Vanadium Steel barrel
44.25" overall length
14" LOP
8.5 pounds

The .257 Roberts is a great old cartridge - built around the classic 7x57 Mauser cartridge. I've killed two whitetail bucks with two shots with this rifle.

Rifle comes with new, unused RCBS dies, approximately 120 rounds of Federal 117-grain ammo, and approximately 40 once-fired brass. If interested, I probably have some .257 bullets I can sell as well.

Rifle is tapped for a scope, but currently has a Lyman FN 57 aperture sight on it. I also have a scope base and mount that fits it, if interested.

Looking for $1200, but open to reasonable offers.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Happy to provide additional pictures or FaceTime to show off this beautiful rifle.

Open to offers on this lovely rifle. I’ve received a couple that aren’t quite “there.” This rifle is also listed on the campfire.

Nice Lyman peep on there! Those quality old steel ones are getting tougher to come by. I have the same one on a Mauser chambered in 375/350 Rem Mag. For those that haven't used it, the .257 Roberts is an excellent low recoiling whitetail chambering. GLWYS!

Thank you. It’s a bit of a shame… the original Armstrong aperture site with which it shipped from the factory only had the base. I had to buy the Lyman 57 to put on it so it would have a complete one.
