I've read the rules for Delta that I'll be flying, it only says the the tips and skull must be wrapped and free of 'residue'. I wont have a way to boil the skull, will it suffice to just bring the head back with hide on if I can get it frozen prior to departure? Or is there a decent way to get the brain matter removed without boiling it? I've done plenty of euro mounts over the years, but we wont have access to any way to boil them. I understand that I would need to wrap the skull really well for travel.

Also could just cut the skull cap off but that would make it tough to get a euro. I would imagine most guys that do that are doing shoulder mounts.

Has anyone just left the hide and brains intact in the skull when flying? Barring CWD rules i would think it would be fine if I can get the head frozen and wrapped really well

I think hide and tissue on is a no-go. Flight gets delayed or something happens and that thing thaws out and leaks in baggage, bad look for you and the hunting community in general. Skinning out a skull and power washing wouldn't take more than an hour.
