For those who do/have done outfitted hunts would you ever consider an outfitted hunt in the Utah book cliffs for spike only? This is a group of family looking to make memories in the woods and hopefully fill the freezer. It would be a few of the groups first elk hunt ever, so they’re not looking for any giants. Besides myself everyone else lives Midwest/texas. We’ve done guided hunts in the past bc those guys can’t get out to do scouting, don’t have all the gear, and it makes it really easy for them. Most are business types that make decent money and don’t get much time in the backcountry. This hunt claims to have very good success and references say it’s a well ran operation. I’ve hunted here in Co a bunch, Montana and NM. Never in Utah. I’d love to hear what some of you guys think of the area or if you’ve hunted with them.

This hunt is priced well (I know eye roll) and I see no major red flags. And I get it…outfitted hunts, “its lazy man’s hunting”, “I’d never do it”, “just save the money and go diy” Etc. I’m over all that, I still do plenty of diy hunting and in the past we’ve really had a good time, especially those guys who don’t have this in their backyard and don’t need to spend time/energy cooking, getting water, cleaning, scouting, etc. Thanks for any help or shit talking
