Dan from South Florida. Obsessed with fishing—slow pitch jigging in FL, fly fishing in Mongolia, GT popping in the Maldives. Western style hunting-curious since weather sucks and fishing slows down in fall/winter. Doing a crash course this summer: hunter safety(done), intro to rifles(done), hog hunting (done), burning ammo at range (now), LR rifle course (May), 5-day Learn2Hunt (June), volunteered to help with deer, erm, nuisance issues in GA (summer) and applying for all the tags this fall. Collecting gear—UL backpacking dialed, picked up a Tikka T3x .308/ SWSF scope and collecting other overpriced doodads. Appreciate the forum and all the knowledge shared.
