Flats or Drums?

BWW's wings are (ironically) terrible. Sauces are good, but the wings themselves are trash. They have to be cooking batches, throwing under a heat lamp, then just dropping your order for a couple minutes before saucing (poorly) and serving. Half of them are cold and if you order extra crispy they're shriveled jerky. Can you ask for freshly fried or something?? Or does my local one just suck?

The burgers though are surprisingly good though. Particularly the hatch chile. And the $4 tall boy kolsch...

Similar experience. I wouldn't say the wings are as bad as you describe, but they're ok at best. Which is wild since wings are their bread and butter. Like you, I prefer the burger. Definitely far more appetizing than the wings. Same goes for hooters. Decent food but the wings suck.

I remember about 10 years ago I was at our local KFC and ordered wings and they gave me nuggets, I was like excuse me but these are not wings, they said sure they are there boneless to which I replied no such thing! Wings are supposed to have bones and are dark meat IMO
