Flatlander boot advice

First the budget: $200
I'm training in my 10 year old combat boots right now.
The hunt is 2cd rifle season for muley in CO.
The problem: Don't know what boots I should get in that budget and I don't have many options for fitment at a brick and mortar here in FL.
Generally I wear a 10 or 10.5 E or EE depending on brand.
I broke my right foot in three places as a youngen so a stiff boot is a must.
I don't know what else info to give so if you need more feel free to ask and I'll answer what I know.

Welcome. A few thoughts for you.

- nothing wrong with .mil boots. I run a pair of danner combat hikers I got on eBay for $80 from time to time.
- some shops and gear companies have .mil discounts that are worth looking into
- tough to touch some of the big names for $200
- I am a 13 EEE and for wide feet and stiff soles, I am a Crispi fan but they are pricey
- I have also had good luck with Merrell sawtooths and asolo fugitive GTX

I'd check the classifieds and buy a used pair of one of the top tier boots. Kenetrek, Lowa, Crispi, etc...Ebay is a good place to find boots. I bought my wife a like new pair of Lowa Renegade's for $65. Those are great boots that can be had for around your price range.

Here’s what you do for sizing. Measure in mondo point(cm). Stand on one foot on a piece of paper trace it and measure in inches heel to big toe, then convert to cm(google inch-cm calculator). This is your mondo point. Buy a pair of boots at least 1cm bigger than your foot, probably not more than 1.5.
