Flat lander FNG from Ohio

Howdy! I’m a flat lander sissy from Ohio that will probably fall over the first time I set foot on a mountain. That being said I’m starting my journey now. I have been a extremely successful whitetail hunter in my area and I have that wonderlust to try something else.

That’s kinda the point I’m at. I focus 99% of my time getting my kids on deer. Besides that I kill a doe opening weekend then hunt bucks hard in November.

Sounds like a good time. I have a lot of gear to buy before I head west but I’m hoping for next year. We will see. It’s hard to spend the coin with 4 youngsters running around haha

My problem is most of my gear is super insulated whitetail gear. I’d sweat to death

Welcome, Butler Co whitetail guy myself went to Wyoming a few years back then Montana and now I can’t stop. Can’t wait for my 3 boys to grow up a little and start taking them along.
