Does anyone have any recommendations on a flashlight that runs on one or two AAA batteries? I have a microstream that I EDC including all hunting trips that I really like but would like something that is just as reliable with more light output. My headlamp is AAA and I would like to keep my flashlight the same battery size. I'm just looking for a light with more output for those times something bumps in the night or a difficult blood trail needs following. Variable output would be a plus!

I have a Princeton headlamp that works great and runs on AAA. For my high output light, I love my Zebralight. Well made and not bad on cost either.

I think it is funny you don't want more then 260lumens when that isn't all that powerful today, get a 1000lumen zebra and see the light :)

I like minimum flashlight.
I would suggest the Olight S1..500 lumens and takes one 123 cell.
Take a look at reviews on CPF.
