Looking into a Halstead tech fleece in fusion. Any reviews on it as an outer layer or insulation price?
I wear a Med in the puffy and storm tight jackets but a large in the merinos. How is the fit? Any info would be much appreciated!

I sized up on the Llanos to an XL, but wear a L in everything else in the line (and I have tried everything except the sactuary) including the Chama and Halstead. Haven't had a chance to wear it out yet so can't tell you much about it's performance, but I plan on using it in combination with a Llano QZ and Chama QZ for a 3 layer QZ system. The Halstead fits almost the same as the Chama QZ, but with a little more length and chest size. I kinda wish I had tried a Chama in XL cause I am a little worried about length, but everything else is properly sized for me.

It's my favorite piece from them. I wear a L in all base layers and a M in everything else, including the puffy & Halstead.

Awesome! Exactly what I wanted to known. Seems to be the theme, outer layers and pants are always one size smaller than merinos. I did have to size up to large in Kanab 2.0. No where a generous

Whoops..."no where near as generous as the originals. I wore those in Medium."

I wish I could get the originals in Fusion as the 2.0s don't come close to fitting me right. I'm swimming in the waist to get the hips to fit with an XL, but the L won't allow me to lift my leg more than 6" off the ground if I squeeze in to them.

Yep they are way tighter. Kinda disappointed since I liked the way the originals fit better too. Spy on EBay. Saw some mediums I almost pulled the trigger on. Seems ridiculous to have 2 pair though.

Same here. The original mediums were fine, but I need large in both the Kanab 2.0 and Guide pants. Large merino, medium Stormtight and Uncompaghre.

Didn't have a problem in the guides. I sent an email to FL asking if they planned on continuing to make the original kanabs, but the real intent is to try to get a feel on if they plan to fix the sizing on the 2.0s. If simply sizing up would fix it it wouldn't be a big deal, but the waist is way too big for that to work for me.

I'm 5'7 150 lbs. and here was my sizing - pretty happy with the sizes, the halstead could have been a small, but I kinda like it a little looser as an outer layer most of the time.

Llano - M
Chama - S
Halstead - M
Puffy - S
