Anyone use these for white tails from a tree stand? I think they'd be a great mid-late season option if they are comfy and not too loud. Anyone have some experience?

I just bought the FL North Branch pants for the same reason. My first impression of them are that they are very comfy and very high quality. They are lighter than my ASAT Elite Ultimate pants, allow more freedom of movement, and I like the zippers for venting. That being said, the material is no where near as soft as the Ultimate pants and are therefore noisier. I hear that if you wash them a couple of times, it softens the material up and the pants are much quieter. One thing I do have to note is that when putting them on, unzip the bottoms of the legs and un-snap the built-in gaiters first. They go on much easier that way.

I have been using the FL North Branch pants for the past two seasons, took a deer last week while wearing them from a treestand on a very quiet evening. I am careful in my movements with them as they are a bit noisy. In regards to washing and quieting down, hard to really tell without a new pair to compare against but maybe a bit. I've probably washed them 5 or 6 times so far. Another Con to the NB line: rubber squeaks when rubbed against them! For instance, my Zeiss HT binos will squeak against the NB fabric, same for some of the rubberized scope covers. I absolutely will not wear the NB jacket tree stand hunting as the outer layer.

The venting is superb for getting to your stand and cooling off and the material seems to be very durable, I have no issues with taking them through nasty tangles and bushes. Blood washes off the fabric easily, even after sitting more than a few days.

As for wind resistance, they do a decent job but on a cold windy day you will feel it! I believe the FL site has changed and they no longer classify the pants or jacket as wind proof. It's odd but I feel the pants are more wind resistant than the jacket. Instead of the NB jacket I now wear the Woodbury, if it's too warm for the Woodbury I have used the llano, Kuiu peloton zip 240 and a chama over top, gotta keep the ASAT rolling from top to bottom!
