Hood. Also get a separate neck gaiter and your set for quick concealment.

Tip: If you wear the gaiter over the hood it won't slide down.

This. I love the chama hoody and I also use it with a gaiter for concealment. If its really cold, I'll wear the thinner llano crew underneath the chama hoody.

If it's cold enough to need the Chama's weight it's cold enough to need a hood. I don't double up on merino layers so if I'm pulling out the Chama it's for my next to skin layer and it's hood-worthy weather.

And size down if its your next-to-skin layer.

Merino against my skin is sooooo sensual! And I get to do it all season long. Awwww yeah.

I ordered both medium and large and for me 6' 200lbs, the medium was a little short. They both "seemed" fit the same in the torso, chest, belly, etc., a little loose. The difference seemed to be that the large is longer and the arms are longer.. So, I kept the large. Thanks All!!!

I have both the Chama Hoody and Chama without the hoody. The hoody always goes with me and the other stays at home or as a backup in camp. Love the option of the hood. I wear it from bow season to late rifle.
