fixed SWFA scope issue - play in the focus ring

I have a gen 1 SWFA 6x42 scope that has given me no cause to complain in the time that I've owned it. Recently, I've noticed some forward/backward play in the focus ring. Not a ton of movement, but previously there was no forward/backward movement at all. I'm haven't been all that concerned about it as I haven't noticed any issues while actually shooting it, but I'm wondering if this is a sign of a compromised optic.

I'd rather not send it in for an inspection and warranty work if I can avoid it.
