Fix the Panning in your Tricer RP Bipod

The 1”x1/8 steel roll pin was a super tight fit.
It hasn’t loosened up since I set it. Canting the bipod is…well very stiff with the roll pin. But doable. How much cant you end up being able to use will depend very much on how straight your drill is with the fore-aft axis.
And absolutely zero pan.
As long as you don’t hog out your entry, and drill reasonably straight, you should be ok with a hand drill.

And for the future readers: the drill press is absolutely recommended. Go hand tools only at your own risk, and comfort level working with aluminum.

Fair, might be worth bringing to the old man’s shop next time I go and use the press to be extra careful

Used a 1/8” dowel for now, I did not go all the way through, only to the hollow void in the middle, my though was, this gives me a few chances to upsize or redo it if it does wallow out a bit, although going all the way through may decrease the odds of that, time will tell
