Fitting my MR Terraframe?

So I got this MR Terraframe 50 last week and have been on 5 hikes locally between 2-4 miles with about 30 pounds of equipment in it. I didn’t adjust the length of the yoke at all because it felt great compared to my MR Glaicer.

I have a 60 pound sand bag in this picture and was looking for advice of those with more experience as to how I should adjust it with this amount of weight?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a problem with how it feels or carries? I have the terraframe 80 and that is about how it rides with that weight. Just make sure the hip belt is high enough on your hips and the lumbar pad is sitting in the small of your back not over your tailbone and lock it in.

It felt good I just wanted to know if there was some adjustment I should make. I got out with it yesterday and other than once having to stop and adjust the belt a little higher and tighten it a little more it felt great.

You pretty much have it dialed in. As long as the waistbelt is sitting snugly and comfortably on your hip bones for good weight distribution via the belt, that part is ready to go.
On the yoke adjustment, it also appears from the photo to be properly adjusted. The key is to find where the seam from the shoulder strap meets the main part of the yoke, and ensure that seam is more or less over your shoulder blade. From the photo, again, it looks correct.
Also, with 60# in the pack, you are getting a good sense of fit and where it rides on your waist/shoulders vs. an empty pack (which is a good place to start, but doesn't reflect "real world" packing with weight.)

The only other tip I would suggest is using the quick attach straps when fully packed up to go from the front of the pack up and over and clip into the top of the load lifters/frame, as seen here. It helps secure the top portion and lid of the pack a bit more.

I think you are ready to roll.

The 2019 pack doesn't have the daisy chain or the two straps that you hilite here. I think you are right with what you are saying but I don't have a mounting location for the extra accessory straps.
