Yeah, I just got off the phone with Garmin, that was a pleasant experience actually, no hold and spoke to a guy from Murica! But he said that the device updates from the smart phone. I saw a YouTube movie made it look like I had to update via my lap laptop and Garmin Express...

I ordered a Garmin Fenix 3 w/HR strap. It gets here today so will be testing it hard. It will do all you're asking plus a ton of crap you won't use. It's expensive as hell but you only live once.
