I’m in the same boat. I’ve got a condo booked for next Monday for ten days on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Ten days of fishing, skiing and I want to eyeball some property I’m interested in.

As long as Idaho is still allowing Wa plates in I plan on going. With 8 confirmed cases at my worksite I’m already on mandatory work from home so almost worse case scenario is there’s an interstate travel ban and I go back to work from my brothers in Twin Falls.

So yea I’m planning on still going. I’m much better off in Idaho than I am in Lynnwood. Especially considering I might not have a job by the end of the week/month :(.

You arnen't going to get the virus by someone coughing one table away on in the isle in the grocery store. You'll get it by touching stuff they may have coughed on and then touching your mouth, eyes or nose without washing your hands. Why they say masks are ineffective at prevention. You aren't walking around inhaling viruses.

The main benefit of a mask, and why healthcare workers wear them is to prevent them from touching their nose and mouth with their own hands. People touch their faces unknowingly over 90 times per day. That is how this is spread.

My business (charter boat captain) is definitely being impacted by this bug.
people like the op canceling left and right.
The folks that have been with me the last few days have not regretted the decision to go fish. Been lights out good!
Bummer I have the day off today. Been really fun fishing 8 hours a day the last week and not once thinking about this bug, until I get to a place where I open phone or turn on TV.
Is it really necessary to talk about this crap 24/7??
Wash your hands, don’t lick doorknobs and don’t get into a mosh pit.
How hard is that?

sorry to hear. Its a shame how easily manipulated , weak and uneducated our country has become. Good, hard working people , businesses, retirements are adversely affected and corrupt politicians are once again rewarded.

My fishing trip to Christmas Island was cancelled yesterday. I probably would have still tried to go, but the island is closed to prevent them from getting COVID in a third world country with little to no medical facilities. Can’t blame them.

I heard that the jumbo walleye bite is on. My buddy called me two weeks ago to see if I was 24 hour deployable to head to Erie. I replied Absolutely. Waiting for the call.
