Really wish they would pay shipping or lower the shipping cost if you spend over $100. Seems unreal you pay shipping for a $300-400 jacket.

Ha I’m sure they could do that and reduce the sales percentage to 10-15% to break even but you’ll still feel better to not pay shipping

I just purchased the uncompahgre jacket and planning on using it in CO this year for elk. Whats the lowest temp you would take that out in as your insulation jacket?

If you layer correctly it's a great piece and can really help keep you warm, but if you are using it as an outer jacket I wouldn't go much below freezing. It doesn't keep warmth in that great on it's own especially for static hunting.

I’m with ND but a bit more of a weenie. Base -fleece - unc I’ve been cold sitting in the 40s. A shell gets me around freezing.

I definitely plan on layering. And I wore it the last couple days in michigan and it's been pretty warm. I'm usually pretty good with cold (a little bit of body insulation lol). I'll plan on around freezing then.

I would definitely suggest wearing it around a lot this winter/spring in MI it will give you a rough idea of what it will do for you.
