This has been a lifelong dream of mine. I’ve exclusively shot tradbow until I was 16 and went on a bear hunt. I switched to a compound for that hunt which led to a harvest and a couple more years of harvests after that. I’ve always had this itch for continuously shooting traditional so I challenge myself a couple times a year. I went on a two year journey a couple years ago with only a miss to log. I went at it last fall again and ended up wiffing a great buck at 10 yards last fall and from that point on I decided to go all in on tradbow hunting once again. I’ve been blessed to have a grandfather who is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to traditional archery so I’ve been learning and filming as much as I can. Wed evening I was truly blessed. I was able to take my biggest bird to date, with my grandfathers longbow, at 6 yards. The shot was true, even though I decided to double tap him for good measure. I’m 27 now, and it has finally all come together. Hunting with a tradbow most of my life looking now has taught me to become a much better hunter, making my hunts with the compound much easier and my shots normally very close. I think this style of bow is truly something that’s in my blood, and a passion that’s indescribable. Sometimes everything comes together in a perfect way. 25# , 11” beard, 1 3/8” spurs
