I have never golfed, but several of my buds do. They ride around in a cart on flat ground. Wear shorts and drink beer while they are doing it. I have never hunted elk like that. It's pretty similar to golf in a lot of ways. Takes tons of practice, years of failure, generally a decent amount of $$$ and you hate it 90% of the time looking for a sweet taste of the 10%
And to the OP, you have to take the first step and learn as you go. Finding someone who is reliable, dependable and disciplined is always a tough go. Chasing elk solo is a blast, until you get one on the ground. Then you will find out what kind of a man you are.
