First Texas Whitetail Hunt

First time hunting in Texas as I reside in Florida. Had a 4 day hunt with some family members and we tagged out for the county we were in. Got some hogs as well. But this was my first Whitetail in Texas. I got him with the X-Bolt Pro in 6.5 PRC at 212 yards. Topped with a Leupold VX6HD 4-24x52. Handloaded ABLR 142g. He dropped right there on spot. I was excited for this to my first animal with the new gun. Hope to be back in the near future. Texas deer hunting is on another level!
